What you will do

• Take ownership of complex technical challenges from design through production across the platform.
• Design and evolve scalable, reliable architectures for high traffic and rapid growth.
• Actively contribute code, prototypes, and reference implementations.
• Lead architecture and code reviews, improving engineering practices around CI/CD, testing, and observability.
• Partner with infrastructure, security, and product teams to define non-functional requirements.
• Identify and address technical gaps by building tools, libraries, or automation.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience building and operating large-scale, cloud-native or distributed systems.
• Strong hands-on background with microservices, APIs, and modern backend architectures.
• Proven ability to influence architecture and technical direction across multiple teams.
• Comfortable writing production-grade code and debugging complex issues.
• Strong understanding of system reliability, performance tuning, and operational best practices.
• Clear communicator who can work effectively with engineers, leadership, and cross-functional partners.
• Work onsite in Tel Aviv.
