Location: Hybrid in Cardiff, UK. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK and have lived in the UK or EEA for the past 3 consecutive years.

What you will do

  • Spend 20% of time in formal training for a Level 6 Software Development apprenticeship qualification.
  • Utilize various tools and programming languages.
  • Follow application & component level design, adhering to standards and patterns.
  • Propose and agree solutions with Senior/Lead Developers.
  • Ensure code quality, compliance with standards, and proper testing.
  • Provide 3rd line support and contribute to team ownership of platforms/systems.

Requirements

  • GCSE’s at grade 4-9 (A-C) or above (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
  • Minimum 96 UCAS points or equivalent level 3 qualification (e.g., A-Levels).
  • Must not currently be on a government-funded training course (e.g., apprenticeship).
  • Must have the right to work in the UK and have lived in the UK or EEA for the past 3 consecutive years.
  • Must not have previously studied Software Development at level 4 or above.
