Test Engineer (5G)

TL;DR

Test Engineer (5G): Responsible for developing test operation plans, executing manual E2E testing, and ensuring the quality of developed solutions in 5G technology with an accent on the Radio Access Network part of the system. Focus on debugging, technical problem-solving, and analysis of test results in an E2E environment.

Location: Hybrid work in Wroclaw, Poland

What you will do

• Create test strategies based on given requirements.
• Prepare and configure test setups.
• Execute test procedures in an E2E environment.
• Debug and resolve technical problems.
• Analyze and evaluate test results.
• Report software issues.

Requirements

• General knowledge of architecture and features in 5G networks.
• Understanding of testing importance during the SW development process.
• Basic understanding of IP networks.
• Experience with Linux OS.
• Good analytical thinking.
• Good English, both written and spoken.

Nice to have

• Practical knowledge about RF equipment.
• Experience with telco E2E testing using real UEs or simulators.
• Practical knowledge about building environments for 5G E2E testing.
• Working experience with Viavi TM500, QXDM, Wireshark.
• Knowledge and practice of software testing concepts (ISTQB certificate will be an advantage).
• Troubleshooting skills for test environment issues.
• Experience in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl).
• Agile way of working.
