Junior Performance QA Engineer

What you will do

• Participate in performance, load, and basic scalability testing of hirify.global product components.
• Assist with test planning, execution, and collection of performance metrics.
• Analyze test results under guidance to identify potential bottlenecks, regressions, or abnormal behavior.
• Help maintain and operate performance test labs: environment setup, configuration, and basic monitoring.
• Reproduce performance-related issues and collaborate with teams to validate fixes and improvements.
• Document test results, observations, and findings in a clear and structured way.

Requirements

• Technical education or strong interest in systems, performance, and infrastructure.
• Initial experience or strong academic background in performance or load testing (internships, projects, labs are acceptable).
• Basic understanding of operating systems: Windows and Linux.
• General knowledge of system components (CPU, memory, storage, networking) and their impact on performance.
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and willingness to learn structured problem analysis.
• English proficiency for daily communication within international teams.

Nice to have

• Basic experience with databases (Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
• Introductory scripting experience (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
• Familiarity with virtualization platforms or cloud environments.
• Interest in test automation or infrastructure-as-code concepts.
