Technical Lead (DevOps, SRE)

Salary: $210,000–$220,000

What you will do

• Serve as the senior technical expert, designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, highly available infrastructure.
• Lead architecture and development decisions across CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, monitoring, and automation.
• Participate and lead hands-on coding, scripting, infrastructure-as-code, and troubleshooting efforts.
• Drive improvements through observability, performance tuning, and automation initiatives.
• Lead incident response efforts, including root cause analysis (RCA), and implement improvements.
• Manage and mentor a team of 6–8 DevOps/SRE engineers, ensuring balanced workload distribution and clear ownership.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering is required.
• 2+ years of experience leading or managing technical teams (6–8 engineers preferred).
• Strong hands-on experience with Cloud platforms (AWS), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation), and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Proficiency in Containerization & orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), Monitoring & observability (Datadog, PowerBI, ELK, Splunk), and Scripting (Python, Bash).
• Experience with RDS Aurora PostgreSQL, strong SQL scripting skills, and the ability to analyze workloads and recommend performance optimizations.
• Experience with incident management, on-call processes, production support, and strong understanding of networking, security, and distributed systems.

Nice to have

• AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka certifications are a plus.
• Experience managing hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
• Background in high-transaction or customer-facing production systems.
