Senior Software Engineer (AI): Utilizing AI tools and LLM-based techniques to deliver safe, high-quality, and engaging content across products, with an accent on optimizing content delivery and user experience. Location: Expected to work from the hirify.global office in Vancouver at least four days per week

Salary: CAD $114,400 – CAD $203,900 per year

What you will do

• Independently use appropriate artificial intelligence (AI) tools and practices across the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to determine and confirm customer/user requirements.
• Lead discussions and own the architecture of products/solutions, creating proposals for architecture by testing design hypotheses and developing complex design specifications.
• Create a clear test strategy that ensures solution quality and prevents regression.
• Design and create complex distributed systems workflows by gathering requirements from partner teams, identifying dependencies, and driving alignment and design with partner and product teams.
• Monitor system/product feature/service for degradation, downtime, or interruptions and gain approval to restore system/product/service for simple problems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
• Experience in large scale system architecture, design, development, testing, and release, including but not limited to web applications, microservices in layers, database design, API design, performance tuning, telemetry design and analysis.
• hirify.global Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the hirify.global Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
