What you will do
- Design and implement end-to-end automation test scenarios for UI and API systems.
- Understand the overall system architecture to represent the user journey.
- Collaborate closely with other automation teams, Dev, PMO, and PM.
- Conduct root-cause analysis of identified defects.
- Participate in the release procedure before production.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Automation development in medium to large teams.
- Strong background in Testing and automation methodologies (e.g., CI/CD).
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with REST API.
- Substantial development experience using OOP languages (JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, or Python).
- Substantial experience with automation tools (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or Puppeteer).
- Experience with functional testing and ensuring high-quality coverage.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / GCP).
- Great communication skills and ability to mentor others.
Nice to have
- Experience with Agile methodology.
- Familiarity with Playwright and TypeScript.
- Basic Kubernetes and microservices knowledge.
- Familiarity with reporting tools (e.g., report-portal).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
