What you will do
- Drive teams operating & security loop, including SLO/SLI design, alerting, incident response, IAM, and vulnerability management.
- Ensure safe delivery through CI/CD, quality gates, configuration management, and rollbacks.
- Own runtime foundation, covering cloud managed services, on-prem Linux hosts, containerization/orchestration, and secrets/certs lifecycle.
- Manage edge, network, and app gateways like CDN, WAF, L4/L7 balancing, DNS, and TLS.
- Drive performance improvements through profiling, low-latency optimizations, capacity planning, and bottleneck identification.
Requirements
- Consistently prioritize customer value and team goals above everything else.
- Strong production experience in SLO/SLI design, incident response, and observability.
- Strong platform engineering experience: designing and operating Linux-based runtimes, cloud, and container platforms.
- Production-grade operation experience for internet-facing applications (CDN, DNS routing, SSL/TLS, L4/L7 ingress, traffic protection).
- Data resilience experience: replication, failover, backup & restore procedures for databases, caches, and queues.
- Performance engineering experience: network and compute latency optimizations, scalability, and capacity planning.
- InfraSec & compliance experience: IAM/least privilege, vulnerability management, host hardening, and network segregation.
- English: C1/C2 – Advanced / Fluent required for daily communication and documentation.
