Senior Fullstack Software Engineer (Fintech): Designing, building, and scaling high-margin fintech products and their backend systems, integrating with large travel companies through a B2B platform. Focus on developing highly available, globally-scaled microservices architectures and iterating on features in an agile environment.

Location: Remote from Dubai

What you will do

Iterate on features in an agile manner using Scala and React.
Decide how to best build core systems within a microservices architecture.
Collaborate with diverse cross-functional teams.
Execute on big opportunities, helping hirify.global rise to the top of the travel industry.

Requirements

Strong understanding of distributed systems and how architectural decisions affect performance and maintainability.
Excelled in cross-functional teams, working fluidly with Product Managers, Data Scientists, and other specialists.
Passionate focus on quality, writing testable code that performs and scales.
Ability to work with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty and ambiguity.
Prior cloud experience.

Nice to have

Working with Scala and/or React and its libraries.
Prior airline/travel industry or eCommerce experience.
Experience in UX design, using tools like Figma.
