Concept Artist (Game Art): Visualizing and developing initial concepts, pitches, and in-game assets for game creation with an accent on aligning the team, guiding content production, and integrating deeply into game development. Focus on digital painting, creating blueprints for assets, compiling references, and ensuring visual consistency from concept to live game phase.

Location: Onsite in Stockholm, Sweden. Only considering candidates already residing in Sweden.

What you will do

• Perform digital painting and concept discovery.
• Create concepts and blueprints for asset creation and production.
• Compile reference images and moodboards to align and guide the team.
• Produce paintovers, visual mockups, marketing, and communication assets.
• Create plans for content production for game levels.
• Participate in playtests and provide feedback on the game.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant professional concept art experience within game development.
• Excellent visual skill set and deep artistic understanding and knowledge.
• Great understanding of art, architecture, anatomy, nature, composition, lighting, color theory, and materials.
• Ability to follow directions and deliver quality from a visual, gameplay, and technical perspective.
• Great communication and collaboration skills.
• Understanding of the technical aspects of the game, memory, and performance.
• Must already reside in Sweden.

Nice to have

• Experience with 3D renders.
• Experience from character concepts.
