What you will do

• Implement HUD components, UI widgets, and UI animations to design specifications using visual scripting in Frostbite.
• Mentor and review the work of other UI scripters, to grow the team around you.
• Work with production to triage and estimate tasks for other Technical UI implementers in your group.
• Define best practices for the Ripple Effect Technical UI group, to ensure efficient and bug-free scripting, and grow the team's abilities for new challenges and ways of working.
• Collaborate with Technical UI at other studios within Battlefield and EA, to share insights.
• Work with other disciplines to ensure technical UI implementation is the best technically, visually, and for usability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a technically-oriented web, front-end, or UI scripter, implementer, or engineer.
• 1+ years of experience in a leadership role.
• Expertise in visual scripting, and working with game editors like Frostbite, Unreal, Unity.
• An eye for visual quality, and a desire to make UI look and feel the best.
• Understand best practices for UI and UX.
• At least one shipped game.
