Location: Remote from Sofia, Bulgaria. Availability required until 8:00 PM Bulgarian time for collaboration with US Pacific Time Zone.

What you will do

• Design and develop backend services in Python and/or Golang for a trading platform.
• Implement and optimize core trading-related business logic.
• Ensure high-performance, low-latency, and fault-tolerant solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
• Cover features with automated tests (unit, integration, performance).
• Take ownership of features from proof of concept to production delivery.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in backend software development.
• Strong proficiency in Python and Golang.
• Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and complexity analysis.
• Experience taking features from concept to production.
• B2+ English level for comfortable communication with multicultural teams and US stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Background in trading or capital markets.
• Experience with concurrent programming and distributed systems.
• Understanding of asynchronous communication patterns.
• Solid Unix/Linux knowledge.
