Site Reliability Engineer

TL;DR

Site Reliability Engineer: Building and optimizing the foundation of our software, including CI/CD, monitoring, and security with an accent on scalable hosting via AWS ECS and managing cloud infrastructure with Terraform. Focus on improving system reliability, automating repetitive tasks, and continuous learning from incidents.

Location: Hybrid (2-3 days in office), must be based in Overijssel, Netherlands.

What you will do

• Work on complex issues in CI/CD, monitoring, and security.
• Implement scalable hosting via AWS ECS and manage cloud infrastructure with Terraform.
• Provide insight into performance using New Relic and CloudWatch.
• Build internal tooling and ensure continuous improvement by learning from incidents.
• Automate repetitive tasks and identify bottlenecks in platform stability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent).
• At least 3 years of experience as a software or platform engineer.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS (ECS, RDS, S3), Docker, and Terraform.
• Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL and Redis.
• Must be available for at least 36 hours per week.
• Preferably live in Overijssel, Netherlands.
