What you will do

• Build and maintain features across the stack: React/Next.js frontend, Node.js/NestJS backend, PostgreSQL.
• Develop clean, well-documented APIs with strong error handling and implement pixel-perfect, responsive UI.
• Contribute to architectural decisions, including data modeling, service boundaries, and performance.
• Refactor and improve existing code, increase test coverage, improve typing, and identify and reduce technical debt.
• Review code meticulously, catching details others might miss.
• Collaborate daily with the engineering team, communicate proactively, and work autonomously on problems end-to-end.

Requirements

• 5+ years of fullstack engineering experience.
• Advanced TypeScript proficiency (understanding the type system, not just syntax).
• Proficiency in React and Node.js.
• Strong attention to detail, caring about graceful error handling, edge cases, and naming.
• Ability to balance quality with speed, shipping features at startup pace when needed.
• Heavy AI tooling usage or eagerness to learn how to use AI to move fast.
• Self-directed, owning problems end-to-end without constant supervision.

Nice to have

• Experience refactoring legacy codebases or migrating JavaScript to TypeScript.
• E2E testing experience.
• Startup experience.
• Python experience for AI agent development.
• Familiarity with LangChain.
