What you will do

• Design and implement integration solutions using Java and modern integration frameworks.
• Build and maintain REST services and API layers that connect enterprise systems.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical designs.
• Improve reliability, performance and observability across integration services.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Support modernization of legacy integrations toward event-driven and cloud-native architectures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a strong focus on system integration.
• Strong Java programming experience in enterprise environments.
• Experience building REST APIs and working with integration patterns.
• Experience working in complex enterprise IT landscapes with multiple stakeholders.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is highly preferred in our telecom environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in telecom, ISP, or high-availability digital environments.
• Experience with messaging/event platforms (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling.
• Experience working in international / offshore team setups.
