Fullstack Engineering Intern (AI)

TL;DR

Fullstack Engineering Intern (AI): Building and contributing to backend and frontend features for product development with an accent on modern backend frameworks, frontend technologies, and cloud environments. Focus on writing clean, maintainable code, participating in Agile ceremonies, and applying foundational computer science concepts while using AI-powered development tools.

Location: Hybrid in Krakow, Malopolskie, Poland. Expected to be in the office at least 2 days per week.

What you will do

• Complete small engineering tasks within the iteration with guidance from mentors.
• Contribute to backend and front-end feature development using the team’s technology stack.
• Write simple, clean, maintainable code and update/add unit tests for assigned changes.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives.
• Communicate progress, blockers, and risks proactively.
• Apply foundational computer science concepts and use AI-powered development tools.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Basic experience with at least one backend language (e.g., Java, C#/.NET, Python).
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies such as Angular, React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Familiarity with relational databases and the ability to write simple SQL queries.
• Understanding of REST APIs and HTTP fundamentals.
• Exposure to Bitbucket for version control and curiosity about AI technologies and Agile methodologies.
