Fullstack Engineering Intern (AI)

TL;DR

Fullstack Engineering Intern (AI/Fintech): Contributing to real product development in an Agile environment with an accent on backend and frontend feature implementation using Java, Python, and React. Focus on building engineering fundamentals, working with cloud environments, and leveraging AI-assisted development tools.

Location: Must be based near the office in Krakow, Poland (Hybrid, 2 days/week in-office required).

What you will do

• Complete well-defined engineering tasks within Agile iterations with mentorship.
• Contribute to backend and front-end feature development.
• Write clean, maintainable code and update unit tests for assigned changes.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Use AI-powered development tools to improve productivity.
• Collaborate with the team on AI integrations and basic data preparation tasks.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Basic experience with at least one backend language such as Java, C#/.NET, or Python.
• Foundational knowledge of frontend technologies like React, Angular, and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL queries.
• Understanding of REST APIs and HTTP fundamentals.
• Strong problem-solving attitude and curiosity to learn engineering workflows.

Nice to have

• Basic understanding of machine learning concepts.
• Exposure to cloud-based AI APIs and code assistant tools.
• Experience with version control systems like Bitbucket.
