What you will do

• Partner with stakeholders across the company, such as eCommerce, Travel, Fintech, and Mobile, to define platform strategy and lead the team in its implementation.
• Manage assigned ecosystem platforms to ensure stability and quality, while setting product strategy and delivering new features and enhancements.
• Define the platform strategy, roadmap, and operating plans, influencing stakeholders to work toward shared goals.
• Lead a team in line management across different roles, being responsible for their career development and growth.
• Build an organizational culture that leads to ongoing excellence and effective growth of teams and services.
• Manage the budget to fulfill fiscal responsibility and ensure proper investments.

Requirements

• People management experience: leadership of multicultural teams with 20+ members (8 years +)
• Extensive experience in building and operating high-traffic, critical platforms
• Very strong sense of ownership and accountability, particularly during production issue management
• Experience in communicating across all levels of the organization, especially with executive-level management
• Good understanding of both business and technology to make proper decisions and have meaningful conversations with stakeholders
• English: Fluent
• Japanese: Fluent
