What you will do

• Lead the Development and QA teams located in Japan.
• Design and develop automotive OTA E2E solutions across Cloud and On-premises environments.
• Analyze customer requirements in Japanese and translate them for global teams.
• Define migration paths from legacy products to advanced Software-Defined Vehicle (SDV) architectures.
• Guide the team in adopting AI-driven methodologies and running POCs for new technologies.
• Establish and improve CI/CD pipelines and automated testing environments.

Requirements

• BSc in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Native level Japanese and Business level English skills.
• 3+ years of team management experience.
• 7+ years of professional experience in Java programming or Embedded systems (C/C++).
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML tools (e.g., OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot).
• Proficiency with Linux, networking, and tools like Maven, Jenkins, and Git.

Nice to have

• Experience with Embedded OS (Linux, Android, QNX).
• Knowledge of Spring Boot, JUnit, Cucumber, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience in modern web development (Angular, TypeScript, Node.js, REST API).
• Scripting skills in Python, Shell, Groovy, or Gradle.
• Experience with Cloud Services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch).
