Location: Hybrid work model balancing office and remote work. Located in Lausanne, Switzerland, next to the Prilly-Malley train station. Relocation package offered for candidates moving to Switzerland.

What you will do

• Design, implement, deliver, and validate product features for both frontend and backend.
• Lead technical discussions, set engineering standards, and promote high-quality coding practices and testing strategies.
• Partner with Product Manager to shape the roadmap and define acceptance criteria.
• Handle L3 support requests with the team.
• Mentor engineers, support knowledge sharing, and foster technical and operational growth.
• Actively participate in agile ceremonials, adopting an iterative/incremental mindset.

Requirements

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• 7+ years of experience in a Software Engineer role, including at least 1 year as a Tech Lead.
• High proficiency in modern Java for backend development.
• Good experience with frontend technologies (ideally ReactJS and TypeScript).
• Solid understanding of API design (RestAPI, GraphQL) including resilience and pagination.
• Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS preferred).
• Comfortable using Git, CI/CD build tools, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Excellent written and spoken English, strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Strong refactoring and test automation abilities.
• Experience with observability tools (e.g., Datadog).
• Exposure to or experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts, tools, or integrations.
