TL;DR

Senior Copywriter (AI): Developing and refining compelling creative content for Square's global brand voice with an accent on full-funnel integrated marketing goals and multi-channel content rollout. Focus on translating brand voice, ideating across fidelities, and using AI and other technologies to refine creative work.

Location: Fully remote for candidates based in Australia. This role will collaborate with teammates on the west coast of the U.S. and marketing partners on the east coast of Australia.

What you will do

• Understand the Square brand voice and translate it into compelling creative content.
• Develop and refine new ideas in response to creative briefs across all advertising, social, and content channels.
• Use AI and other technologies to develop and refine creative work.
• Iterate and communicate ideas across multiple levels of fidelity (e.g., mood boards, concept statements, writing explorations).
• Write and ideate on short and long-form copy for top, mid, and low-funnel assets.
• Collaborate with other creatives and producers on video, photo, digital, and print production, driving multiple projects.

Requirements

• 8+ years of advertising agency and/or in-house experience.
• Expert copywriting and concepting skills.
• Experience working remotely and autonomously to meet deadlines.
• Ability to present work clearly and sell ideas to key stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of Google Workspace, Figma, and AI tools.
• Portfolio of recent work including campaign concepting, writing samples, and adoption of AI tools.
