Location: Hybrid in San Francisco, CA. Salary ranges provided for Colorado, New York City, California (San Francisco Bay Area and outside), and Washington state.

Salary: $183,000–$276,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission) for New York City and San Francisco Bay Area. Other US locations range from $165,000–$247,000.

What you will do

• Generate and turn novel ideas into engineering solutions in collaboration with Product Management and Design.
• Drive business impact by owning end-to-end project delivery.
• Lead high-leverage projects and contribute to performance optimization and scaling efforts.
• Mentor and contribute to the success of other engineers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building robust, scalable backends and interactive, user-facing web applications.
• Strong understanding of the full stack and flow of user-facing web applications.
• Experience with application backends, microservices, and high-throughput ingestion systems.
• Proficiency with React, TypeScript, Node.js, Python, JavaScript, Redux, and AWS.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving mindset, and exceptional communication skills.
• Proven track record of successful delivery and execution in web development.

Nice to have

• Interest or experience in technical leadership.
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong practitioner of automated testing.
