What you will do

• Design and build cloud-native platform components using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
• Develop cloud-native services on AWS, working with containerisation, serverless patterns, and managed services.
• Design and implement REST APIs with OpenAPI specifications, and integrate third-party services.
• Contribute to event-driven architecture using Kafka for asynchronous communication and system integration.
• Collaborate with senior architects on solution design and technical decision-making.
• Evaluate technology options and present recommendations with clear trade-off analysis.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with strong Java proficiency.
• Solid experience with Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem (Spring Cloud, Spring Security, Spring Data).
• Demonstrable experience building and operating services in cloud environments (AWS preferred, GCP/Azure acceptable).
• Practical experience with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes/ECS) and modern deployment practices.
• Hands-on experience with both relational and NoSQL databases (ideally PostgreSQL and MongoDB).
• Familiarity with architectural patterns: microservices, event-driven architecture, API design, domain-driven design concepts.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs with OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar).
