What you will do

• Develop and enhance services for the Infrastructure Cloud, managing infrastructure and security lifecycles.
• Contribute to core products like Terraform, Packer, Waypoint, Nomad, Vault, Boundary, and Consul.
• Build scalable, resilient, and secure distributed systems for major cloud providers.
• Review and refactor code, writing comprehensive tests for complex and edge cases.
• Collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders, managing expectations and valuing diverse perspectives.
• Apply a cloud-native mindset and strong DevOps principles in a cloud environment.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as an engineer working in Golang.
• Professional experience developing with modern programming languages and frameworks.
• Experience working with distributed systems, particularly on cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, with a focus on scalability, resilience, and security.
• Demonstrated experience in reviewing & refactoring code and making suggestions that improve the codebase and product, including writing tests.
• Cloud-native mindset and a solid understanding of DevOps principles.
• Strong customer focus and systems-thinking mindset.
• English: B2 required.

Nice to have

• Experience using hirify.global products (Terraform, Packer, Waypoint, Nomad, Vault, Boundary, Consul).
• Prior experience working in cloud platform engineering teams.
• Emerging experience in mentoring team members.
