Salary: $60,000 - $100,000 per year

What you will do

• Create textures and materials for characters, assets, and props in the required aesthetic style.
• Provide technical solutions for creating and optimizing shaders and textures.
• Maintain master materials, material instances, and internal tools to improve efficiency.
• Support the look development of 3D models, including fur and hair.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure art assets support game performance and memory budget.
• Share information regarding the latest best practices and tools for 3D art creation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience as a Technical or Material Artist.
• Intensive experience working with game engines, Unreal Engine is required.
• Good foundation in art and design, including composition, form, and color theory.
• Fluent with Photoshop, Substance Suite, and able to paint textures.
• Basic knowledge of 3D modeling using Maya, Zbrush, or similar software.
• Good communication skills and a great team-player attitude.

• Experience with Unreal PCG framework.
• Experience teaching Art and Environment Art.
• Art Leadership experience.
• Houdini Experience.
