What you will do

• Design, prototype, and implement features and tools, ensuring stability and usability.
• Collaborate with Product Design, Product Management, and engineering teams.
• Build and ship medium-sized features, managing task expectations.
• Debug and resolve medium-level bugs to maintain product quality.
• Review technical contributions and suggest improvements to processes and architectural design.
• Participate in on-call rotations, pairing, and team planning.

Requirements

• At least 3+ years of experience as an engineer working in Golang.
• Professional experience developing with modern programming languages and frameworks.
• Experience working with distributed systems and cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP), focusing on scalability, resilience, and security.
• Experience in reviewing & refactoring code & writing tests for complex and edge cases.
• Cloud-native mindset and understanding of DevOps principles in a cloud environment.
• Proven decision-making abilities with a data-driven approach to complex technical challenges.

Nice to have

• Experience using hirify.global products (Terraform, Packer, Waypoint, Nomad, Vault, Boundary, Consul).
• Prior experience working in cloud platform engineering teams.
• Emerging experience in mentoring team members.
