Infrastructure Lead

TL;DR

Infrastructure Lead: Leading the infrastructure team and contributing to engineering projects by creating new infrastructures or improving and maintaining existing ones with an accent on infrastructure roadmap definition, prioritization, and success guarantee. Focus on close collaboration with the Security team, active infra costs monitoring, and yearly infra budget preparation.

Location: Hybrid remote policy. Brand new offices in the center of Paris, France.

What you will do

• Define and communicate the infra roadmap, prioritize projects, follow all infra projects and guarantee their success.
• Create new infrastructures or iterate on existing ones, either on projects led by the infra team, or on projects co-driven by development squads.
• Be the go-to person for the development team when they have questions on the infrastructure or need help on the parts of the infrastructure they are building.
• Work closely with the Security team, participating in the Security committees to bring clarification on infrastructure choices and make possible the security approvals.
• Actively monitor infra costs and take initiatives to either lower them or at least not allow them to grow.
• Annually, prepare the infra budget for the next year, including the needed budget for the platform and for all our collective internal tools.

Requirements

• You have 8+ years of Infrastructure/cloud DevOps experience.
• You have a first experience in team management, including demonstrated leadership skills and capacity to lead a motivating vision.
• You have strong experience working with cloud providers like AWS/GCP.
• You have experience managing mission critical platforms (SLA 99.5%+) and/or experience on a data processing platform.
• You use IaC tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• You have professional proficiency in English and French.
