What you will do

• Contribute to the Developer Tools Team within the Database Experience department.
• Build tools for hirify.global Atlas to help users manage hirify.global at global scale.
• Develop products enabling users to interact with stored data, such as mongosh, hirify.global MCP Server, and the VSCode extension.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to ensure business continuity and incident response capabilities.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience working on backend systems (Node.js, Java, C#, Go, etc.).
• Experience as a backend engineer with a willingness to take on frontend tasks or a full-stack developer with a bias towards backend.
• Experience with the design and architecture of modern, scalable, high availability web applications.
• Experience working with databases.
• Must be based in Dublin for the hybrid working model.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of database internals and tuning mechanisms, particularly indexing.
• Previous work in TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
• Experience working with websocket based client to server communication.
• Familiarity with developing and supporting microservice based architectures using Kubernetes.
