What you will do

• Design and evolve automated test strategies for complex backend systems.
• Create testing frameworks and tools.
• Build and maintain integration, regression, and end-to-end tests.
• Own and evolve Gitlab CI/CD pipelines.
• Improve deployment automation and release confidence across environments.
• Partner on monitoring, alerting, and incident readiness.

Requirements

• Strong engineering background with experience in test automation and/or DevOps for backend systems.
• Solid understanding of backend architectures and data mocking/testing.
• Experience with CI/CD systems, infrastructure automation, and modern deployment practices.
• Ability to think in terms of failure modes, edge cases, and system behavior under stress.
• Pragmatic mindset.
