DevOps Engineer (CI/CD)

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain resilient, scalable CI/CD systems for multiple products.
• Develop automation scripts and tools using modern programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) to streamline tasks.
• Collaborate globally with cross-functional teams to assess and improve DevOps practices.
• Lead technical sessions and workshops, promoting agile and modern DevOps methodologies.
• Produce clear, comprehensive documentation for CI/CD platforms.
• Establish and maintain robust monitoring, logging, and metrics systems for CI/CD processes.

Requirements

• Proven expertise in writing and maintaining scripts with a focus on test-driven development (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.).
• Solid systems background with a BS in Computer Science or related fields, plus experience in system administration.
• Hands-on experience with building and managing modern CI/CD pipelines, particularly using Jenkins (including pipeline-as-code).
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across diverse, global teams and articulate technical concepts.

Nice to have

• Background in managing heterogeneous environments (Linux, Windows, macOS) in production settings.
• Experience using configuration management tools such as Puppet or Ansible.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and virtualization technologies (VMware), including deployment on cloud platforms like AWS.
• Experience with scaling Infrastructure-as-Code practices across hybrid systems.
• Proficiency with complex build systems, package management tools, artifact repositories (e.g., JFrog Artifactory), and security scanning.
• Ability to design and implement effective monitoring solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of version control systems (Git, SVN, Gerrit) and code review workflows.
