What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain complex relational database solutions.
• Create and optimize database schemas, tables, views, indexes, stored procedures, and functions.
• Analyze and improve database performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security across systems.
• Collaborate with application teams to design efficient data access patterns.
• Monitor database systems and proactively address performance or capacity issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in database development and design.
• Strong expertise in SQL and advanced query optimization.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL or similar RDBMS (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
• Experience with data modeling (logical and physical) and performance tuning.
• Strong understanding of transactions, indexing, locking, and concurrency.
• English: B2 required for all communication and documentation.

Nice to have

• Experience using AI agents and assistants for software design, code generation, and refactoring.
• Experience with spec-driven or contract-first development.
• Familiarity with Git, JIRA, Confluence.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Kibana.
