What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and NestJS.
• Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Break down user stories into technical tasks and provide accurate estimates.
• Implement complex features following best engineering and domain best practices.
• Perform code reviews and ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and engineering teams in a remote environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend software development
• Strong expertise in Node.js and NestJS
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture, including asynchronous messaging patterns
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and SOA principles
• Experience with PostgreSQL and familiarity with other relational and/or NoSQL databases
• Good spoken and written English
