What you will do
- Lead end-to-end Italy payroll implementations, from discovery to go-live.
- Conduct structured due diligence on customer payroll setups and specific constraints (CCNL rules, allowances, accruals, TFR, social security/tax impacts).
- Manage data migration and validation, including mapping, consistency checks, and loading historical values.
- Plan and execute testing cycles, including parallel runs, and ensure reconciliation to acceptance criteria.
- Act as the customer’s trusted point of contact, communicating complex topics clearly.
- Partner with internal teams to improve templates, tooling, documentation, and automation for quality and efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven, hands-on experience implementing Zucchetti Paghe Infinity (mandatory): configuration, data imports/migrations, setup validation, go-live support.
- Italy payroll experience, ideally in consultancy, payroll bureau, outsourcer, or in-house function with exposure to implementations.
- Strong understanding of payroll foundations (e.g., progressivi, CU logic, Uniemens structure, year-to-date handling).
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, priorities, and timelines in a hirify.global environment.
- Clear, structured communication to translate complexity into actionable steps.
- Fluent in English and Italian (written and spoken).
Nice to have
- Experience with mid-year transitions, parallel payroll, and complex onboarding scenarios.
- Strong working knowledge of high-volume CCNLs (e.g., Commerce, Metalmeccanico).
- Experience in tech or high-growth environments, comfortable collaborating with Product/Engineering.
- Experience working hirify.globally.
