Frontend Engineer (Cybersecurity): Building and optimizing engaging, data-driven experiences for hirify.global's next-generation cybersecurity platform, Kestrel, with an accent on unifying data across security domains, streamlining access to critical information, and enabling user personalization. Focus on designing, building, and maintaining scalable single-page application frameworks, ensuring code quality through testing, and continually learning about the evolving cybersecurity industry.
Location: Hybrid, requiring 2-3 days per week on-site in our New York office once the development center is established.
Salary: $120,000 – $180,000 per year

What you will do
- Execute on the technical strategy for front-end engineering architecture with flexibility, scalability, security, and performance in mind.
- Design, build, and maintain single-page application frameworks.
- Participate in the code review process.
- Leverage technical expertise to make sound decisions around engineering, product design, and direction.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams such as UX designers, QA engineers, Product Managers, and Data/API engineers.
- Continually learn about the cybersecurity industry and front-end engineering.
Requirements
- Expert knowledge of latest web standards and front-end engineering tools (HTML, CSS, Javascript, RESTful API, GraphQL, Typescript, Node/NPM, Webpack, Responsive UI).
- Experience with front-end frameworks (Ember, React, Angular, Vue, Lit), building scalable UI design systems using atomic design principles, and implementing Accessibility (a11y) and Internationalization (i18n).
- Good understanding of Cloud Technologies and end-to-end delivery of data-intensive SaaS products.
- B.S. Degree in a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills required.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US.

- Experience working with full-featured data grid libraries such as AG Grid.
- Experience with Web components.
- Familiarity with Amazon Web Services.
- Prior experience in cybersecurity.
- Experience with using and contributing to Open Source Libraries.
