Full Stack Software Engineer (Java/AWS)

TL;DR

Full Stack Software Engineer (Java/AWS): Designing, building, testing, and deploying cloud-native applications for a global business with an accent on modern engineering practices, DevSecOps, and a customer-centric approach. Focus on developing Java/Spring Boot APIs, AWS Lambda-based services, and managing infrastructure using Terraform within a cross-functional international team.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain Java/Spring Boot APIs and AWS Lambda-based services, including ongoing support and evolution.
• Design and implement cloud-native and serverless solutions on AWS.
• Provision and manage infrastructure using Terraform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using GitLab, Jira, and Confluence.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
• Participate in production support and incident management.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
• Proven hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including Lambda, ECS/Fargate, Batch, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, DocumentDB, S3, OpenSearch, Athena, Cognito.
• Experience with RESTful API development and consumption.
• Strong proficiency with Terraform.
• Experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework.
• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitLab CI or Jenkins.
• Upper-intermediate level of written and spoken English (B2).
• Must be based in Ukraine.
