What you will do

• Build new product experiences and features for the Zable App on iOS and Android.
• Improve app performance, reduce technical debt, and enhance scalability.
• Contribute to wider engineering and business initiatives as the company grows.
• Collaborate with product owners to define business requirements and break them down into deliverable tasks.
• Experiment and innovate to bring new products and reach new audiences.

Requirements

• Solid understanding of modern JavaScript with TypeScript.
• Commercial experience with cross-platform mobile development using React Native.
• Good understanding of the different needs of mobile users across various platforms and devices.
• Experience with current automated testing approaches and a pragmatic view of the testing pyramid.
• A product mindset and comfort working with product owners to estimate implementation complexity.

Nice to have

• Experience using GraphQL in a production environment.
• Knowledge of mobile performance best practices and debugging techniques.
• Experience with staged rollouts and multivariate testing to release new features.
• Familiarity with accessibility needs and the tooling required to ensure guidelines are adhered to.
• Experience in UI or UX design and discussing approaches with product designers.
• Experience building or working on products that have scaled from zero to hundreds of thousands of users.
