Senior Automation Engineer (GameDev)

What you will do

• Improve how engineering teams build, test, and deliver software.
• Design and evolve automation as an internal product for the software delivery lifecycle.
• Improve reliability, consistency, and usability of CI/CD pipelines and tooling.
• Identify manual, error-prone, or slow processes and replace them with automation.
• Collaborate with application engineers, SREs, and infrastructure teams.
• Contribute to standards and reusable patterns for build, test, deployment, and rollback.

Requirements

• Background as a software engineer, SRE, DevOps engineer, or platform engineer with a strong focus on automation.
• Experience improving developer productivity or internal tooling.
• Experience operating systems across multiple environments (dev, test, prod).
• Experience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
• Comfortable writing automation and tooling in a general-purpose language (e.g., Python, Go).
• Working knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Familiarity with containerized workloads and modern deployment practices (Kubernetes/EKS, ECS).

Nice to have

• Exposure to Site Reliability Engineering practices or operational ownership.
• Experience working with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Familiarity with delivery performance metrics.
• Interest in software supply chain security or compliance automation.
