What you will do

• Launch and upgrade blockchain chains, managing standups, hard-forks, and clean rollbacks.
• Automate infrastructure through modules, golden images, CI/CD, and zero-touch deploys across regions.
• Operate and tune Kubernetes at scale, ensuring safe rollouts, capacity planning, and cost efficiency.
• Lead incidents (SEV0–2), publish RCAs, and implement changes to prevent recurrences.
• Build robust observability solutions with SLOs, useful dashboards, and targeted alerts.
• Develop and extend tooling, occasionally patching client bugs and contributing upstream fixes.

Requirements

• Strong Linux and Kubernetes debugging skills in production environments, covering networking, storage, and performance.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Helm, Ansible) for shipping repeatable infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Go or Python, along with Bash, for automation and building small tools.
• Experience with blockchain operations, including JSON-RPC internals, running/tuning RPC/validator nodes, and log analysis.
• Practical experience with observability, SLOs, error budgets, and Prometheus/Grafana instrumentation.
• Strong networking fundamentals (DNS/TLS/LB) and ability to reason about anycast/BGP.
• Clear production ownership and real RPC/validator ops experience with one or more of EVM (Geth/Erigon/Nethermind/Besu), Cosmos SDK/CometBFT, Solana, or Substrate.
