What you will do

• Design, provision, operate, and manage highly available, performant, and scalable distributed application systems on AWS.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment and testing processes of infrastructure and solution components.
• Implement comprehensive monitoring and alerting solutions and provide system administration support.
• Implement and ensure cloud infrastructure security and compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Collaborate closely with development teams, product managers, security, network, and other operations teams.
• Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure costs, making recommendations for cost-saving measures.
• Maintain clear and comprehensive architectural documentation, including design documents, reference diagrams, and guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, system engineer, or in a similar role, with a strong focus on AWS cloud services.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Experience with automation tools (Jenkins, GitLab or AWS CodePipeline) and Linux System Administration.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, networking, compute, storage, serverless computing, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with application configuration, secrets management, and AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect or similar certifications.
• Prior experience in a fast-paced agile environment.
• Familiarity with other cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud) and multi-cloud strategies.
