Middle PHP Backend Engineer (Laravel) | Remote (Full-time)

Axiom Pro is a U.S.-based recruitment & outstaffing company helping global clients build strong engineering teams. We’re looking for a Middle–Middle+ PHP Laravel Developer who can work independently, communicate clearly, and is motivated to grow toward Senior / Team Lead responsibilities. You’ll join long-term projects, collaborate with international teams, and take ownership of feature development, integrations, and technical improvements.

✅ Responsibilities
-Maintain and improve the existing codebase
-Prepare technical specifications and break down development tasks
-Troubleshoot and resolve application issues
-Implement and optimize data storage solutions
-Collaborate with front-end developers on integrations
-Finalize back-end features and run application testing
-Refactor and improve existing functionality to enhance performance

🧠 Requirements
-3+ years of commercial PHP development
-Strong experience with Laravel and PHP 7+
-Solid understanding of JavaScript / jQuery
-Knowledge of HTML5, CSS, JSON
-Fluent English (written and spoken)

💰 Compensation & Conditions
-$14–$18/hour
-Full-time (8 hrs/day)
-Required availability: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM EST
