What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services.
• Implement high-performance, reliable, and secure APIs for marketplace functionality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve the customer journey.
• Participate in system architecture discussions and contribute to technical decision-making.
• Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity.
• Integrate external services, including payment providers and transaction-heavy systems.

Requirements

• Strong background in backend development with PHP, preferably using Symfony.
• Hands-on experience with MySQL and designing efficient data models.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and service-oriented architecture.
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP is a plus), Kafka, caching mechanisms, and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with payment systems, PSP integrations, or transaction-heavy platforms.
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Upper-intermediate English or higher for daily communication.
