What you will do

• Develop novel algorithms and AI tools/agents.
• Hack and prototype solutions for exceptionally challenging AI problems.
• Initiate, prototype, and co-lead Google's ambitious AI initiatives.
• Engineer scalable, reusable tools and libraries for AI-driven products.
• Balance rapid, exploratory prototyping with discipline for clean, scalable code.
• Apply Software Engineering and AI/ML principles to solve real-world problems in domains like search, ranking, deep learning, or large-scale distributed systems.

Requirements

• Willingness to work on ambiguous, ill-defined problems.
• Deep understanding of Machine Learning and Machine Learning Algorithms.
• Industrial experience with Generative AI and Generative AI Agents.
• Expertise in Python; familiarity with C++.

Nice to have

• Proven track record of solving exceptionally complex problems (e.g., math and programming competitions or developing novel algorithms).
• Exceptional hacking skills for rapid prototyping and iterating on complex systems.
• Quick learner with strong analytical and coding skills.
