What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable server-side architecture, RESTful APIs, and core business logic.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, UI/UX designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality web applications.
• Design, implement, and optimize database schemas and queries, ensuring efficient storage, retrieval, and security of data.
• Implement security protocols, conduct code reviews, and address vulnerabilities to safeguard applications and sensitive information.
• Deploy applications in cloud environments, leveraging containerization, infrastructure-as-code, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead projects when needed, maintain code integrity, and actively debug and troubleshoot issues in production.

Requirements

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with at least 9 years of relevant experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with web frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Solid understanding and hands-on experience with RESTful API design, ORM, and database management (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Elasticsearch).
• Expertise in containerization (Docker, Podman) and orchestration (Kubernetes) for scalable deployments.
• Experience with DevSecOps and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and configuration management tools (Ansible).
• Fluency in English is required.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with code quality tools (linters/formatters like pylint, black, flake8) and AI-powered coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot).
• Knowledge of secure coding practices, authentication/authorization, encryption, and vulnerability scanning tools (OWASP).
• Knowledge of French.
