Game Designer (Mobile F2P Monetization): Designing and evolving core economy, progression, LiveOps, and monetization systems for free-to-play mobile games with an accent on data-driven iteration and cross-functional collaboration. Focus on balancing complex multi-currency economies, building engaging LiveOps, and translating analytics into design actions for player engagement, retention, and revenue.

What you will do
- Own and evolve core economy & progression systems, including sources/sinks, pacing, balancing, inflation control, and multi-currency setups.
- Build and iterate LiveOps systems (event structures, calendars, reward tracks, recurring loops) to drive engagement, retention, and monetisation.
- Use analytics and experimentation (KPIs, cohorts, player segmentation, A/B tests) to guide design decisions and post-release tuning.
- Collaborate across Product, Analytics, Engineering, Art, and QA to take systems from concept to implementation and live iteration.
- Contribute to product planning across prototyping, production, and live operations, delivering high-impact updates.
- Help identify and deconstruct new market opportunities and player needs, staying at the cutting edge of mobile F2P design.
Requirements
- Proven experience in systems design, economy design, monetisation design, and LiveOps on free-to-play mobile games (mid → senior level).
- Strong understanding of complex economies (multi-currency, progression, rewards, sinks/sources) and how to balance them over time.
- Solid knowledge of mobile F2P design techniques to drive engagement, retention, and monetisation.
- Comfortable working with game analytics and turning data into actionable design decisions (including experiment-driven iteration).
- Strong grasp of mobile user experience and ability to empathise with different player types and motivations.
- Creative problem solver with the ability to design clear, scalable systems and communicate them through high-quality documentation.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with Unity and/or proprietary tools/editors for implementing and tuning game systems.
- Strong spreadsheet / simulation skills for economy modelling and balancing.
- Experience running LiveOps at scale (segmentation, personalization, long-term event planning, content cadence).
