What you will do

• Develop and maintain robust back-end systems and architectures for payment processing and financial services.
• Design and implement integrations with payment networks and financial messaging infrastructure (SWIFT, SEPA/Centrolink).
• Work with ISO 20022 message schemas to build compliant payment flows.
• Integrate and optimize back-end services using domain-driven design with hexagonal architecture.
• Implement and oversee integration of workflow orchestration tools like Temporal.io.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent architecture and enhanced performance, adhering to best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in back-end development.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and back-end frameworks like NestJS.
• Solid understanding of payment systems, clearing and settlement processes, and financial messaging standards (ISO 20022).
• Experience integrating with payment networks or financial infrastructure providers (e.g., SWIFT, SEPA CSMs, national clearing houses).
• Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and database design.
• Familiarity with implementing authentication protocols and identity management.
• Strong experience designing and implementing both synchronous and asynchronous (REST) APIs, WebSocket, Queues, and Event-Driven Architecture.
