What you will do

• Explore and implement cutting-edge GenAI applications, including Large Language Models, on hirify.global hardware.
• Focus on FPGA-based solutions and engineering knowledge graphs.
• Work on pathfinding projects to improve the efficiency of RTL design for FPGA and ASIC flows.
• Develop FPGA-based AI prototypes using hirify.global FPGAs (e.g., Stratix, Agilex) for accelerated inference workflows.
• Bring up modern LLMs on hirify.global hardware for local infrastructure.
• Benchmark different LLM architectures for latency, throughput, and energy efficiency.

Requirements

• Must be pursuing a PhD degree program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
• 1+ year of experience in FPGA design flows (hirify.global Quartus or similar) and hardware description languages (VHDL, Verilog or SystemVerilog).
• 1+ year of experience in machine learning frameworks (Pytorch, TensorFlow) and Python scripting language.
• Advance English level (C1) required.
• Must have unrestricted, permanent right to work in Mexico.
• This role requires an on-site presence in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with oneAPI, OpenVINO or similar hirify.global toolchains.
• Experience deploying LLMs on clusters.
• Exposure to LLM architectures and large-scale deep learning models.
