Senior Financial Analyst

TL;DR

Senior Financial Analyst: Providing financial support and analysis for a Business Unit, including technical accounting analyses under IFRS, month/quarter/year-end closing tasks, and deferred revenue tracking. Focus on improving processes, assisting with accurate forecasting, and integrating new acquisitions.

Location: Remote (North America); however, Harris has offices across North America should a candidate be looking to work from an office either permanently or on a hybrid basis.

Salary: $57,500–$65,000 per year.

What you will do

• Perform technical accounting analyses under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Complete month-end and quarter-end close processes, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Track and analyze deferred revenue streams and calculate commissions.
• Maintain accurate business unit forecasts and prepare audit requests.
• Lead or assist with special ad hoc projects and integrate new acquisitions.

Requirements

• 4+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis and/or accounting.
• CPA member/student (or member/student of a similar professional accounting body).
• Effective communicator comfortable working with all levels of management.
• Solutions-focused mindset with a desire to improve processes.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
