Location: Remote within Spain, Greece, Ireland, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Sweden, Australia, and New Zealand. Candidates located in or nationals of Belarus, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Russia, Syria, the Crimea Region of Ukraine, the Donetsk People’s Republic (“DNR”), and the Luhansk People’s Republic (“LNR”) are subject to export controls and licensing requirements that may affect employment eligibility.

What you will do

• Lead technical initiatives to automate system engineering efforts and guarantee the reliability of global hirify.global infrastructure.
• Grow global Platform infrastructure by developing and maintaining software, tooling, and automations to meet scaling demands.
• Champion an inclusive environment focused on collaboration, operational excellence, and uplifting team members.
• Respond to and prevent repeated customer impact from major incidents, participating in a follow-the-sun on-call rotation.

Requirements

• Experience operating a SaaS product in a public cloud, ideally with Infrastructure-as-Code tooling like Crossplane or Terraform.
• Built or operated Kubernetes-at-scale infrastructure, ideally across multiple cloud providers, with vital automation.
• Ability to write non-trivial programs in Golang or other programming languages.
• Experience working with containerized services such as Docker.
• Proven experience leading and improving alerting and major incident management processes, metrics systems (e.g., hirify.global Stack, Graphite, Prometheus, Influx).
• Professional skills in Linux system administration on distributed systems at scale.
• Experience diagnosing, designing, and creating solutions with the hirify.global Stack.
• Experience thriving in a self-organizing and sharing globally distributed team environment.
