What you will do

• Develop and maintain SQL-based business logic and data models in Databricks.
• Build and optimize Delta Lake tables and views for analytics and reporting.
• Implement incremental data refresh and validation logic.
• Automate workflows and data quality checks using Databricks Jobs or Python scripts.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to CI/CD process improvements.

Requirements

• Strong skills in SQL and experience with Databricks SQL / Delta Lake.
• Good understanding of Lakehouse architecture and data modeling best practices.
• Hands-on experience with data transformations, reporting models, and Databricks Workflows.
• Knowledge of performance optimization and CI/CD (Git-based deployments).

Nice to have

• Some experience with Python (for automation, data validation, or integration scripts).
• Familiarity with Unity Catalog for data governance and access control.
• Basic understanding of Spark SQL or PySpark concepts.
• Knowledge of Lakebase or similar hybrid data platforms.
• Experience operating in cloud environments (Azure preferred).
