What you will do

• Lead major feature development and work directly with founders on end-to-end product development.
• Provide technical leadership for specific products and features.
• Mentor other engineers within a small interdisciplinary team.
• Work full stack to build new products from scratch and rethink existing codebases for scale.
• Continuously improve and maintain production code.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant coding experience.
• 3+ years of technical or people leadership in a fast-paced engineering environment.
• B.S. or higher in Computer Science (or equivalent work experience).
• Excellent knowledge of one or more of these languages: Python, Node.js, C++, Go, C#, or Java.
• Experience building production-ready code that’s used regularly by lots of people.
• Comfortable learning new languages, libraries, and frameworks.

Nice to have

• Experience in a fast-paced work environment, shipping quality code quickly and iterating.
• Comfortable with deploying and managing cloud infrastructure.
• Good knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
• Strong proficiency with SQL and other database technologies.
