React Native Developer

What you will do

• Develop and maintain web and mobile applications using React and React Native.
• Implement and optimize component lifecycle methods and React hooks for performance and maintainability.
• Manage application state using appropriate strategies (e.g., Context API, Redux, Zustand).
• Integrate TypeScript for type safety and improved developer experience.
• Ensure code quality through linting tools (e.g., ESLint, Prettier) and comprehensive testing (Jest, React Testing Library, Detox, Cypress).
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and the publishing/maintaining of shared React libraries.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in React and React Native development.
• Deep understanding of React component lifecycle and hooks.
• Solid experience with TypeScript in React projects.
• Familiarity with state management libraries and patterns.
• Proven testing experience with modern JavaScript testing frameworks.
• Experience with performance profiling, optimization, and CI/CD tools.
• Must be able to work from the Knutsford, UK office 2 days a week.

Nice to have

• Experience working in Agile teams.
• Experience developing iOS and Android apps using native technologies or other cross-platform frameworks (e.g., Flutter, Xamarin).
• Familiarity with mobile-specific challenges in cross-platform development.
